CCBR Angus Farm

Spring has been a blessing to CCBR Angus Farm with addition of calves that add pounds and dollar values to the herd.

CCBR Ruby Barbara 427 is a Dec. ‘08 daughter from RJ Miss New Design 878 511, a Bon View New Design 878 daughter, and TC Moonshine 315, a TC Moonshine 001 son. With 427’s weaning and yearling weight in the top 30% of the breed and milk in the top 10% of the breed, 427 will be a top of the line replacement heifer.

CCBR Erica 430 is a Oct. ‘08 daughter from T W D Dateline Focus 194 and Glenns Bon View 1407. With her smaller frame, 430 is a sure top heifer and believed to scan well with her IMF.

CCBR Lass 433 is a Sept. ‘08 daughter from A A F Lass 24 of Banjo and DAB Bell Buckle 34K. As with 430, 433 is another sure top heifer and believed to scan well with her REA.

CCBR Big Blackbird Lady 431 is an April ‘09 daughter from Mills Design Lady 949 and ALC Big Eye D09N. CCBR’s first AI calf, 431, is going to be a great addition to the herd with the combination of strong growth and superb $values.

CCBR Susanna 434 is an Jan. ‘09 daughter from BT Susanna 106R and Connealy Whitman 4737. Matching 431, 434 is going to be a great addition to the herd adding IMF and REA to our young cows.

Confirmed yesterday, December 3, 2007, via angusonline.org, CCBR New Fortune 601 is the newest addition to the CCBR Angus herd. Born on November 4, New Fortune 601 is out of Richview Catherine 03 and Garretts Fortune 502. Garretts Fortune 502 is CCBR Angus Farm’s first AI bull used to produce very productive New Fortune 601. EPDs are listed below. CCBR Angus Farm is still expecting its first round of Bon View New Design calves in early February. We will keep you in touch.

With our new picture program installed, these are the pictures over the past couple of months at CCBR Angus Farm.

On Thursday July 5, 2007, CCBR Angus, confirmed via angusonline.org, that the registration of CCBR Traveler 607 has been completed. CCBR Traveler 607 (reg #15728175) was born in December 2006 out of the T W D Dateline Focus 205 and R A R Traveler 624 9113. Birth and weaning weights have not been submitted; however, we are in the process of completing the submission.

In other news, CCBR Angus Farm is in the process of registering its first heifer calf. Registration will hopefully be completed soon. Also in about eleven months, CCBR Angus will be expected calves that are from the Bon View New Design 1407 blood line. We will keep you updated.

Great things are happening here at CCBR Angus Farms. One great change is the redesign of the webpage. The webpage is not like any ordinary webpage; this webpage is running from Wordpress, a blog engine. I thought that it would be the most efficient method of keeping up with the happenings at our farm. Most things are in place at the moment; however, content needs to be added. Also, the sidebar to the left might change again to add the reference to an archive of all the articles written for ccbrangus.com.
